Which of these things are not like the other?

Corn, soybeans, you.

I was describing what I do with someone this week and he used the word “commodities” to describe how people are treated when they apply for a job.

You are not a commodity.

You are unique, and much more than your job title.

All the job descriptions written by AI sound exactly the same.

What they are missing is that there are humans in that organization who need a real human to work with them.

To care.

To solve expensive problems.

Submitting a resume that has been customized by AI to a job description that was written by AI is not going to meet that need.

Let’s work together to describe what makes you unique.

Going beyond all the check box categories.

Because you are not a soybean.
