A guy once talked me right out of renting him a room and had no clue what he’d done.

Many years ago, I used to rent out rooms in my home.

One guy came to see the place.

He generally looked ok, had interesting hobbies, told me he had converted his car to run on cooking oil.

He opened closet doors to look at the cleaning supplies, which was a bit weird.

And then he told me that he was suing his current landlord because he was sensitive to the cleaner that they used on the carpets.

He was shocked when I turned down his application.

Just a reminder that past behavior is a good predictor of future behavior.
