Taking out the Improvements

When a theater show has been running for months, 6 days a week and twice on weekends, the show can drift from the original performance.

The show is originally developed by the director, who brings all the elements together into one unified vision.

Once the show is open, it is passed to the stage manager, who keeps it going.

However, every few months, the director needs to come back and bring it back to the vision.

I’ve heard it described as “Taking out the improvements.”

Are there places where your business has drifted from the vision?

Are their “improvements” that are getting in the way of serving your customer at the highest level?
